Dr. Noël C. Barengo has over 20 years of experience teaching epidemiology, research methods, and public health. He has taught extensively in undergraduate and graduate programs across Europe and Latin America.
Dr. Barengo’s research focuses on population health and non-communicable diseases, emphasizing the prevention of hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. He is actively involved in professional organizations such as the American Public Health Association, the American Diabetes Association, the International Diabetes Federation, and America’s Network for Chronic Disease Surveillance. He has worked as a consultant for the Pan American Health Organization and the health ministries in Argentina, Colombia, and Paraguay.
Dr. Barengo has co-authored over 160 peer-reviewed articles. He brings a global perspective and a commitment to advancing public health through education and research.
